Johnny Sharp - Coach
Johnny has spent most of his career as an HR, Recruitment and Learning & Development professional. He has worked within many UK Government departments including the Cabinet Office, the Treasury and the Department for Education in a variety of roles within HR, Business Management and Corporate Transformation Programmes.
After leaving the Civil Service, he joined one of the world’s largest travel companies, ‘The Travel Corporation’, a global travel and leisure organisation with offices in more than 40 countries. As the HR Operations Manager, he managed the mentoring and coaching programmes as well as recruiting many staff through assessment centres and workshops. He then moved back into the education sector and worked as the HR Manager for Trinity College London, a charitable based music, drama and English professional qualification organisation. This role involved a great deal of recruitment and performance appraisal training to ensure staff were reaching the required competencies expected by the business. He then returned to the public sector, working for the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, primarily as an IT Trainer.
Johnny is currently Director of his own HR and Training consultancy and is looking forward to bringing all of his previous experience and workplace knowledge to coaching at Mandarin Consulting.
