Mandarin Consulting Attends EY FEN Chinese New Year Celebration

6 February 2019, Wednesday, London

Mandarin Consulting was invited to join the colourful and elaborate EY Chinese New Year celebrations in EY’s prestigious offices overlooking the River Thames and the City of London.

The event, hosted by EY’s Far East Network [FEN], was opened by EY’s Tax partner, Suwin Lee. Ms Lee, who is responsible for developing and expanding EY’s China business, spoke about the ever closer Sino-British economic relationship and the opportunities for the future. Ms Lee also referred to the successful collaboration between EY FEN and Mandarin Consulting, following the EY Insight evening in December, jointly organised by EY and MC.

Guests were treated to tasty, traditional food from all corners of the Far East, from Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore, as well as China. The highlight of the evening was the Lion Dance welcoming the start to the Year of the Golden Pig.

Mandarin Consulting’s Marketing Executive, Wei Pan said, “It was a privilege to be invited to join the EY Far East Network’s wonderful Chinese New Year celebrations. Nothing could have epitomised more the importance of cross-cultural ties, with the stunning view of the very British Tower of London and London Bridge outside and the vibrancy and music of the Chinese Lion Dance inside. Wishing everyone a very Happy Chinese New Year!”
