Mandarin Consulting – Northampton Employability Fair
Mandarin Consulting’s Birmingham branch attended the University of Northampton Employability Fair yesterday. The fair was arranged to allow the University students the chance to network with over 80 employers, organizations, volunteer opportunities and internship providers.
Large international and national companies such as General Electric, Santander, Anglian Water, Travis Perkins, Peugeot and Royal Navy joined with large volunteer organizations such as Oxfam, NSPCC, Marie Curie and many more to provide an ideal opportunity for students to reach out to potential employers.
Mandarin Consulting proved popular with the Chinese students of the University, Consultants Tiffany Zhong, MiuMiu Wang and Liyang Liu provided information and advice on common employment issues for Chinese. Students stopped by to say hello and share experiences over the course of the four hour event.
The University’s Employability includes a Graduate Fair and master classes. This is all organized by the University Changemaker Hub whose head Wray Irwin said, ‘The University of Northampton is internationally recognized for its commitment to employability with 96% of our graduates employed or completing further studies within six months of graduating’.
