Coaching And Initial Meeting Experience From Carrie
1) I spoke to a China based warm lead last week, I was really impressed with her focus and drive to plan so early. She does not need to arrive the UK till September 2013, she has since joined our programme so will start submitting 2014 Graduate Scheme applications from July when some programmes open! I think she is an inspiration for many others.
2) I had a career advice session with a very smart graduate. He speaks good English and has been studying in the UK for quite a number of years. He thought he had very good understanding of job market and how companies recruit. After joining our programme, he started to realise that he has got some real fundamentals wrong and hence he could not win an offer. So this case tells me that just doing more and repeating the same mistakes is not the best way to tackle job application issues, students and graduates should seek professional help when they need to.
