Jennifer Melia - Coach
Jennifer has spent the last 18 years improving businesses and organizations through HR Management and implementation of ‘People Strategy’. She puts great significance on the power of people when looking to improve company performance and service.
Having started her career in Sales, Jennifer moved to HR as an adviser for the NHS. She quickly moved up through the ranks to become HR Manager at NHS England, where she worked on the transfer of 6,000 staff via a complex TUPE process as part of the government’s Department of Health reforms. Following this, she was seconded to London as HR Consultant, working closely with head of Nursing and Clinical Heads of Service to ensure HR Governance procedures were adhered to. Finally, Jennifer took the position of HR Business Partner for NHS England where she worked on the restructuring and redesigning of Primary Care Support Services, liaising with Commissioning Directors to ensure change management implications were understood and planned for. She also consulted and liaised with Regional Trade Union Representatives.
During her time at the NHS, Jennifer also undertook stints at local government level for Bradford Council, and has since worked with private companies such as Maximus UK, a business service provider for government health and human service agencies, and Vocare Group, a provider of urgent care services. Jennifer has a lot to offer our candidate and is looking forward to improving their employability through her personal coaching sessions.
